How to Make your very own Laundry Soap

If you find that you are allergic or have skin
irritation from most laundry soap, or you just want to make it yourself to save money, then here is a great recipe for you to try - and you can get it all at your one stop shop - ACE

1. Grate your soap and place it in a sauce pan. Add 6 cups of water and heat until the soap melts

2. Add the Arm & Hammer Washing Soda and Borax and stir until it is dissolved.

3. Remove from heat.  4. Pour 4 cups of HOT water into your bucket. Add the soap mixture and stir.

5. Add another gallon and 6 cups of water and stir.

6. Store your laundry soap in your bucket, covered.

Use 1/2 cup per load.
Stir before measuring your detergent, or fill an old laundry detergent bottle with your homemade detergent, leaving a bit of airspace, then shake well before measuring.

There you have it. Your very own, homemade low suds laundry soap. As we mentioned before, all of the products are available at ACE Hardware.
